Silver Carlsson (formerly known as Hans Carlsson) is an artist, critic, poet and curator based in Malmö and Berlin. They have studied art at the art academies in Rennes and Malmö and at Konstfack – University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. They have studied creative writing at Skurups folkhögskola and Författarskolan Biskops Arnö and have a bachelor degree in comparative litterateur from Södertörn University (Stockholm). Carlsson's art has been shown at places such as the Harun Farocki Institute in Berlin, Malmö Art Museum, Tensta konsthall and DAM Projects London. Their film and video installation piece HESTIA is since 2021 part of the Malmö Art Museum’s collection. Carlsson have, among other places, curated exhibitions for Lunds konsthall and Skånes konstförening (Malmö). As a critic, they have written critique, interviews and essays for magazines such as Kunstkritkk, ArtReview, Art India, Ord&Bild, Point of View/TriArt Film and Expressen. In 2021–2022, Carlsson published fiction in Ordkonst and Pralin Magasin.
